False alarms and fees for certain public safety services

The fee of repeated false alarms is motivated by the need to make alarm system users and building owners aware of the operational impacts and costs of emergency services when they have to respond to false alarms.

The following paragraphs summarize the main provisions of the false alarm by-law. It does not replace the official text adopted by the agglomeration Council. For legal purposes, please refer to the by-law's official text: CA-2016-259.
