List of pesticides

List of low-impact pesticides

Low-impact pesticides belong in Class 5 of the provincial government's Réglement sur les permis et les certificats pour la vente et l'utilisation des pesticides.

Pesticides included in Class 5 do not require any preparation, they are ready to use. They can be put on the market if their volume or their weight is equal to or less than a litre or kilogram.

The low-impact pesticides are those authorized inside and outside day-care centres and primary and secondary schools (Pesticide management code). Moreover, Ville de Longueuil's pesticide application by-law permits only the application of the products on the soil of sensitive areas and adjacent areas (parks, day-care centres, schools, churches, health establishments).
